The long meandering drive-way hides the historic country house, overlooking beautiful lawns and shaded by historic and ancient tree's.  Plas Dinas Country House, former home of the Armstrong-Jones family, still provides a homely yet elegant atmosphere in an unpretentious environment.

Guests can relax in the beautiful drawing room, still containing many items belonging to the family, wander the grounds or enjoy an aperitif in the intimate bar.  Plas Dinas has won many awards for its personal service over the years and holds a GOLD AWARD from both the AA and VISIT WALES.

All 10 en-suite guest rooms are individually decorated and feature Molton Brown amenities, luxurious fluffy duvets, bathrobes, homebaked treats and tea & coffee facilities with artisinal brews from Cafe du Monde and Newby.  There is complimentary high-speed internet throughout the property.

IN THE AREA

Plas Dinas Country House is perfectly located for exploring the surrounding area, known for its outstanding natural beauty.  Mount Snowdon, the Lleyn Peninsula, the Isle of Anglesey, Caernarfon and Bangor are all within easy driving distance.  Guests can also enjoy the popular Welsh Highland Railway which travels from Caernarfon to Porthmadog, the line of which runs through the gardens.

The park of Glynliffion and the National Trust Properties of Plas Newydd and Penrhyn are nearby as are the towns of Porthmadog, Pwhelli, Beaumaris, Beddgelert and Llanberis.

• The restaurant is only open from TUESDAY to SATURDAY nights for dinner only and reservations are highly recommended
